This full moon is asking us to release the need to be perfect or useful to deserve love. To let the Maiden in us bloom — present, sensual, playful, belonging to herself.

We are gathering for an astrological reflection on this eclipse, an embodied Maiden archetype ritual, and a sharing circle where you are witnessed in belonging.

Join Us for the Moon Circle!

Each circle offers an astrological reflection on what's unfolding, followed by a guided ritual/practice to work with the energy of the moon — for release, renewal, or integration. We close with a sharing circle, where you're invited to speak from the heart and be witnessed in belonging.

Not a Veil. Not Just Mist. It’s Smog.

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo - 3 March, 2026

On 3 March 2026, a total lunar eclipse occurs at 12°54′ Virgo, the fifth in a series of seven eclipses along the Virgo-Pisces axis running from September 2024 through February 2027. It is the last full moon before the Spring Equinox on 20 March 2026, when the astrological new year begins. The world outside is loud: wars, shifting alliances, the ground moving beneath collective certainties. And yet the skies are asking something quieter of us: to turn inward. To clear what is ours to clear. The last exhale before the wheel turns again.

Think back to September 2025. There was an eclipse season then too, on the same Virgo-Pisces axis. Something started unravelling. Something became impossible to ignore. A process of dissolution began, in a relationship, a role, a belief about yourself, a way of living that no longer fit.

Whatever that was for you, this eclipse on 3 March is the next chapter of that same story. What began unravelling then is ready to complete now. This is not a new wound being opened. It is an old one finally being allowed to close.

Mercury Retrograde in Pisces

Mercury, Virgo’s ruling planet, is retrograde in Pisces for the duration of this eclipse. The mind that Virgo loves to use, sorting, analysing, fixing, planning, is being asked to soften and feel instead. Things may feel foggy. Decisions may feel slippery. That is not a problem to fix. It is an invitation to stop trying to think your way through what can only be felt. The veil does not lift cleanly while Mercury is retrograde. This is not the moment of sudden clarity. That comes later.

Mercury moves direct on 20 March, the Spring Equinox itself. Until then: don't force clarity. Don't launch anything new. Let things settle. The clearing comes first.

Saturn, Neptune, and the Dissolving Mist

Just eleven days before this eclipse, Saturn and Neptune formed an exact conjunction at 0° Aries, the very first degree of the zodiac, a point of raw beginning. This is a rare and significant meeting. Saturn builds structure, boundaries, and the daily practice of self-care. Neptune dissolves separation, opens us to oneness, and connects us to a love that is larger than the personal.

Together they create something like mist. Not a veil that lifts cleanly in one moment to reveal what was always there, but a slow, patient dissolving. Things become visible gradually as the mist thins. You don’t suddenly see. You slowly begin to sense. And this mist won’t fully clear until Mercury moves direct on 20 March. Until then, we sit inside it. That is not a failure. That is the practice.

The invitation of this eclipse is to find the balance between these two: the softness of Neptune and the groundedness of Saturn. To let Neptune dissolve the self-criticism, and to let Saturn build something real and gentle in its place.

And there is a third layer beneath the mist. Smog. This is not separate from what’s happening in the world. Look around. Bombs dropping, sides switching overnight, leaders saying one thing and doing another. Nobody knows what is real anymore. That’s not just politics. That’s the smog we have all been breathing, collectively, for a long time. The outer smog is a mirror of the inner one. We cannot build a clearer world from unclear selves. The inner work is not a luxury or an escape from the collective crisis. It is the beginning of the answer to it. We go inward first. All of us. That is where clarity starts.

What This Eclipse Is Asking Us to Release

At its deepest root, this eclipse is asking us to release the belief that we are only worthy when we are useful. When we are perfect. When we are needed.

Beneath the perfectionism, beneath the compulsive helping, beneath the self-criticism that never rests, there is a wound. A place where a child was taught, through experience rather than words, that love was conditional on performance. That belonging had to be earned. That she was only safe when she was good enough, organised enough, small enough, helpful enough.

This eclipse is asking us to feel the grief of that. Not to turn it into a lesson too quickly, but to actually sit with the sorrow of how long we tried to earn what was ours all along. To let the inner child who learned she was unworthy unless she was perfect be seen, held, and told: you were always enough. You were never the problem.

And from that place, to allow the Maiden in us to bloom into her own being. Not performing. Not shrinking. Not earning. Simply present, loved by herself, belonging to herself. Releasing the shame. Coming home.
Virgo carries wheat and the palm branch, symbols of harvest and the reward of patient tending. The harvest is not material. It is the distillation of everything you have grown through this year, the wisdom that comes quietly, through presence, through not running, through choosing to stay with yourself even when it was uncomfortable.

The past, present, and future cards — the Ten of Wheels, the Seven of Cups, and the Ace of Cups — add up to 18, which reduces to 9: The Moon and The Hermit. The arc is clear. We are moving from illusion and fog and the hall of mirrors toward the one who has gone inward and found their own light. Not borrowed. Not earned. Simply uncovered.

The wheel has been turning — pulled by momentum, old patterns, the unconscious. But we chose to be here. We chose these lessons. Onwards and upwards: not the same loop again, but the spiral of integration.

The cups surrounding us now are not all our own. Many are inherited — the dreams we were handed, the expectations we absorbed, the shadows we were taught to chase or flee. The invitation is to get still enough to see which desires are truly ours and which are illusions we have been living inside without questioning. Not running toward. Not running from. Just present. In that stillness, the inner light becomes visible — and what was never ours becomes easy, even joyful, to leave behind.

And when the fog clears: one cup. Pure. Overflowing. Feminine essence flowing freely — happiness, presence, and abundance arising not as things to achieve, but as what naturally emerges when the performing stops and the shame is released.

We Are Gathering

Come and sit with all of this together — to name what has completed, to compost what no longer serves, and to receive what is becoming. We will move through an astrological reflection, a guided ritual practice for release, and a sharing circle where you are witnessed in belonging.
